Aoife began ballet at four years old with Annette Hynes School of Dance. She quickly added Modern and Tap dancing to her repertoire and continued taking ISTD exams in Modern to a vocational level. Aoife has trained in ballet and contemporary at Cois Ceim, Dublin as well as dance studios in Vancouver and Montreal during her time living there.
Aoife has previously taught Ballet and Hip Hop at Bray School of Dance. She is passionate about movement and loves seeing her students grow their technique and confidence in performing. Outside of the studio, Aoife works in television and film. With a BSc in Multimedia she loves merging her background in dance with the visual arts.
She has collaborated with dance theatre company Junk Ensemble on their dance short In Velvet and with dance historian Deirdre Mulrooney and Evanna Lynch on two dance films to honour an Irish pioneer of modern dance, Lucia Joyce.
